“ Restaurant is located on the top floor of the airport. I’ve rarely had good airport food but this is the exception. Everything was super fresh, made to order, fast and delicious. They actually provide more cheese than needed for the pretzel puffs (which never happens) and the cheese had a great flavor. I got the Reuben with onion rings. Both were pipping hot, super fresh and some of the best I’ve ever had. My two coworkers said their dinners were also delicious. They got the white fish sandwich, the special (a Philly cheesesteak sandwich) and sidewinder fries. Restaurant was also very open to us substituting or removing from our choices. Great place to stop if you’re passing through. Cool to see a little airport on the way up as well. ”

“ Interesting atmosphere - airport and Cabela's style animals throughout - all kinds. But the food is very tasty. My fav is the Turkey Burger with sweet potato wedges, but the last visit I saw a salmon dinner that made my mouth water! Friendly service and no pressure dining. Some days, it's Hoppin, and some days, it's relaxed. Always delicious Update: Maple plank whitefish is wonderful and not breaded! ”

“ HIGHLY RECOMMEND... A fantastic establishment inside the beautiful Pelston Airport. (Worth a visit to check out the rustic decor with huge stone fireplace!) It was a quiet Monday night around 7:00. Six other people were there upin arrival. We sat at the bar for dinner. Calvin, our server and bar tender, was fantastic. Welcoming, friendly, and attentive. We enjoyed chatting with him and the couple also seated near us. They have a great selection of food items on the menu: pasta, fish, shrimp, sandwiches. We had the salmon with maple ginger glaze, whipped potatoes, and steamed beans. An absolute fabulously tasting meal. Everything was done perfectly! I was told the rolls were yummy as well. A great selection of desserts: Peanut butter pie, Double Chocolate cake (very dense and rich), a lemon cake, and a cheese cake, I believe. Serving sizes were definitely shareable. ”

I ordered jalapino burger with "amazing house, comma shapped fries, crispy yet with soft potatoes inside. For drink i had "house made" spicy bloodt mary. Simply amazing experience. “ What an unexpected treat! We were visiting looking for somewhere new to try. We have been coming up to the Highlands for years and never tried Hoppies. We were in the mood for Friday fish. 18.99 all you can eat cod. The fish was moist, light batter whi h was great. Fries are curly potatoes which were crunch on the outside and pillowy fluffy inside. The service wow! Special shout out to our waitress Courtney, she was amazing! She was attentive, replacing drinks and putting in more cod for us, she is a professional! Friendly, helpful, we were impressed. Everyone was friendly from coming in with the hostess to service and everything. It's on the second floor of the airport, which was great to watch the planes takeoff as a fun ambiance to dinner. Highly recommend we can't wait to come again and try the other dishes! ”

“ I sat at the bar and was immediately greeted by a very polite bartender that offered me drink and menu. He was knowledgeable about the food and drinks, after a couple drinks and the maple glazed salmon, I was thoroughly impressed. The salmon was excellent, I eat a lot of salmon at restaurants and this was among the best. ”

“ Hoppies Landing is in a small airport, Pellston Regional Airport, but it is the most unique airport I have ever been to!! It is small, only two terminals, but the rustic decor make it worth any delay you could ever hope to face!! Hoppies is on the second floor of the airport. It has a full bar, plenty of waiting area, a small arcade for the kids, shuffleboard for the adults and a large menu. The food is good, the service was fast, and the drinks were not lacking!! And all with a view of the airstrip!! I highly recommend visiting, and hey, if your from a long way out, you can always book a flight ;) ”
